About Jefferson City , MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The capital city of Missouri, Jefferson City is a bustling and beautiful little city with old brick buildings and tree lined streets. Of course, their branches are bare as the seasons pass from warm to much cooler and then, cold. When the snow hits the ground, the locals get even more into the holiday spirit and the town kicks into overdrive with community activities and neighborly fellowship.

Jefferson City was selected as the new capital in 1821 because of its central location within Missouri.Proposed names were “Lohman’s Landing” and “Missouriopolis” but they settled upon naming it for Thomas Jefferson. It’s all about patriotism and the American dream in this part of the world and Jefferson City is alive with festivals, parades, and more. There is always a celebration of their great state happening and the people of Jefferson City are proud to resident in the capital of a state that they dearly love. German immigrants created vineyards in tiny towns on either side of the Missouri River, particularly on the northeast side, known as of the "Missouri Rhineland” and wine and vineyards are still a big part of the local economy. One of the most fun activities in the area on a sunny day in the warmer months is a vineyard stroll.

The Midwest, over the years, has maintained an old-time feel. It is perhaps more traditional in some ways, but also very diverse and progressive. It is the melting pot that we call America, of course. But, Midwestern small towns simply illustrate an ambience of Americana that cannot be denied. It’s indisputably quiet, historical, beautiful and unique. This is an attractive place to call home for people who enjoy a slower pace of life. But, Jefferson City, as the capital, is larger than many of the surrounding towns. Some of the smaller towns on the outskirts of the city are attractive to people who work in Jefferson City but prefer a quieter, more pastoral environment at home. The family oriented environment of the city is appealing to lots of parents. You can count on snowball fights in winter and swimming pools in summer.
